Item 8.01. Other Events.

On July 16, 2010, Orient Paper, Inc., a Nevada corporation (the “Company”), issued a press release announcing that in order to provide the highest level of transparency to its shareholders, the Company's Board of Directors has decided to retain Loeb & Loeb LLP, who plans to work with the Company’s Audit Committee to retain a Big Four audit firm, to conduct an independent investigation into the issues raised by Muddy Waters, LLC. A copy of the press release that discusses this matter is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to, and incorporated by reference in, this report.
