The Israeli Court Dismissed with Prejudice the Application for Certification of Class Action regarding Environmental Hazards to the Vicinity of Bokek Stream

Further to the Company's immediate report dated March 11, 2018 (Reference no: 2018-02-023143) and to Note 18 of the Company's financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2021, filed with the SEC on February 23, 2022, the Company hereby reports that on April 21, 2022, the Be'er Sheva District Court dismissed with prejudice the application for certification of a class action that was filed in March 2018 against the Company's subsidiaries, Rotem Amfert Negev Ltd. and Periclase Dead Sea Ltd., requesting compensation of about NIS 1.4 billion (approximately \$435 million), regarding environmental hazards that were caused due to leakage of wastewater to the groundwater aquifer in the vicinity of the Bokek stream, which began in the seventies, while the Company was government owned, and ended by the year 2000.

בהמשך לדוח המיידי של החברה מיום 11 במרץ 2018 )מס ' אסמכתא: 2018-02-023143( ולביאור 18 לדוחות הכספיים של החברה לשנת ,2021 כפי שפורסמו ב יום 23 בפברואר ,2022 החברה מתכבדת לדווח כי ביום 21 באפריל ,2022 דחה בית המשפט המחוזי בבאר שבע על הסף את הבקשה לאישור תביעה ייצוגית שהוגשה במרץ 2018 נגד חברות הבת של החברה, רותם אמפרט נגב בע"מ ופריקלאס ים המלח בע"מ, בהיקף של כ - 1.4 מיליארד ש"ח )כ435- מיליון דולר(, בעניין מפגעים סביבתיים, שנגרמו כתוצאה מחלחול של מי שפכים לתת הקרקע של סביבת נחל בוקק, שהחל בשנות השבעים , עת הייתה החברה בבעלות ממשלתית, והסתיים עד שנת .2000
