Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers.

On October 29, 2015, iShares ® Delaware Trust Sponsor (“IDTS”), sponsor of iShares ® Silver Trust, appointed Paul Lohrey as Chief Executive Officer and President of IDTS, effective November 10, 2015. He will continue his position as a Director of IDTS. Mr. Lohrey, CFA, 52, became a principal of IDTS in April 2014 and performs supervisory and managerial functions. Mr. Lohrey joined BlackRock, Inc., a global asset management firm, as a Managing Director in June 2010. Prior to joining BlackRock, Inc., Mr. Lohrey served as Chief Investment Officer, Europe for The Vanguard Group, an asset management firm, from October 2008 to May 2010. He also held various positions in equity and fixed income portfolio management while at Vanguard from August 1994. Mr. Lohrey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Duke University in 1984 and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago in 1986.

Mr. Lohrey will replace Patrick Dunne, who will resign from his offices of Chief Executive Officer and President of IDTS, effective November 10, 2015.
