TRADING HALT
The securities of Cape Lambert Resources Limited (the "Company") will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Wednesday, 16 July 2014 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt
Pursuant to Listing Rule 17.1 Cape Lambert Resources Limited (ASX: CFE) (Cape Lambert or the Company) hereby requests an immediate trading halt be granted by the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in respect of its securities.
The trading halt is requested pending an announcement regarding the legal dispute against Metallurgical Corporation of China Limited (MCC).
Cape Lambert requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday 15 July 2014 or until the release of an announcement in respect of the above matter.
The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
