Board Changes
Cyclone Metals Limited (ASX: CLE ) ( Cyclone or the Company ) announces the following changes to the Board:
-
The transition of David Sanders from Non-Executive Director to Chairman of the Company
-
The transition of Luke Martino from Non-Executive Director to Deputy Chairman of the Company
-
The retirement of Timothy Turner as Non-Executive Director of the Company effective 23 November 2025
Timothy Turner
Tim was appointed to the Board in September 2004.
Tim was instrumental to the growth of Cyclone which included the acquisition and subsequent disposal of a number of material projects including the Cape Lambert magnetite iron ore project, the Copperco group of companies, the Leichhardt project and the African Iron takeover bid. Tim was also pivotal in the payment of dividends and return of capital to Cyclone shareholders in the years 2008 to 2014 totalling approximately $169m.
More recently, Tim was supportive of the acquisition of the Iron Bear Project by Cyclone in January 2023 and influential in the financial solution in the form of a placement and rights issue entered into by the Company in July 2024 to support the development of Cyclone’s flagship Iron Bear project.
The Board of Cyclone would like to thank and acknowledge the contributions made by Tim for over 20 years of service and wish him well in his retirement.
