Appointment of Exploration Manager

Highlights:

• Highly credentialed exploration geologist, Mr. Andrew Wood, joins the IRIS team on a full-time basis as Exploration Manager.

• The formal appointment of Mr. Wood provides the Company with a significant boost to its technical and geological expertise.

Following its successful ASX Listing, IRIS Metals Limited (“ IRIS ” or the “ Company ”) ( ASX:IR1 ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Wood as full-time Exploration Manager. Mr. Wood has been working with the Company on a contract basis and will now join the team as an official member.

Mr. Wood is a highly skilled exploration geologist with 15+ years’ experience in senior technical and management roles, both within Australia and internationally. He resides in the goldfields in close proximity to the Company’s projects, a factor which is particularly important during the COVID pandemic.

Since working with IRIS, Mr. Wood has completed extensive desktop studies, site reconnaissance and planning for the Company’s maiden drill program, which he is currently on site overseeing.

The appointment of Mr. Wood complements the already strong project development capability and experience within the Company’s Board and Management.

Mr. Woods’ employment package will include 1,000,000 unlisted options exercisable at 30 cents and an expiry date 3 years from the issue date. 500,000 vesting after 6 months of service and 500,000 vesting after 12 months.
