নেগেটিভ হতে হবে। শুক্রবার সকাল থেকেই বিভিন্ন দলের কর্মীদের হুড়োহুড়ি পড়ে যায় করোনা পরীক্ষা করানোর জন্য। জেলায় একাধিক পরীক্ষা কেন্দ্র করা হয়েছে করোনা পরীক্ষা করার জন্য। তার সঙ্গে টিকাকরণও। শুক্রবার মালদা শহরের জেলা ক্রীড়া সংস্থার পাশেই সুইমিং পলে করোনা পরীক্ষার কেন্দ্র করা হয়েছিল। সেখানে সকাল থেকেই সব রাজনৈকিক দলের কর্মী এসে করোনা পরীক্ষা করান। সেখানে তাঁদের টিকাকরণেরও ব্যবস্থা করা হয়। সঙ্গে সঙ্গে দেওয়া হয় করোনা পরীক্ষা সার্টিফিকেটও। এদিন জেলার সংবাদকর্মীদেরও করোনা
পরীক্ষা করা হয় সুইমিং জেলাশাসক রাজর্ষি মিত্ৰ জানিয়েছেন, যাদের করোনা টিকা দুটি ডোজ হয়ে গিয়েছে, তাঁদের সার্টিফিকেট দেখালেই গণনা কেন্দ্রে প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন। যাঁরা করোনা পরীক্ষা করাননি, অথবা করোনা টিকা নেননি, তাঁদের করোনা পরীক্ষা করিয়ে সার্টিফিকেট সঙ্গে রাখতে হবে।
কারণ এই সার্টিফিকেট না দেখালে গণনাকেন্দ্রে প্রবেশ করতে পারবেন না। জেলাশাসক বলেন, '২ মে গণনা কেন্দ্রে প্রবেশাধিকারের জন্য করোনা পরীক্ষার বিশেষ শিবির করা হয়েছে।'
উত্তীৰ্ণ হলেই তবেই গণনা কেন্দ্ৰে প্রবেশ করা যাবে। এমনই নির্দেশ দেয়েছে নিৰ্বাচন কমিশন। ফল স্বরূপ সব রাজনৈতিক দলকেই আবেদন করা হয়েছিল, গণনা কেন্দ্রে যেসব কর্মীরা থাকবেন, তাঁদের করোনা পরীক্ষা করিয়ে নিতে হবে। পাশাপাশি ভ্যাকসিনও নিয়ে নিতে হবে। দু'দিন পরই গণনা। তার আগে করোনা পরীক্ষা করা হল সব নিৰ্বাচনী রাজনৈতিক দলের এজেন্টদের। জেলায় আডাই হাজারের ওপর রাজনৈতিক দলের কৰ্মীরা উপস্থিত থাকবেন। গণনা হবে ৪ কেন্দ্রে। চাঁচল মহকুমার চাঁচল কলেজে হবে মালতিপুর বিধানসভার গণনা। চাঁচল সিদ্ধেশ্বরী হাই স্কলে হবে চাঁচল ও হরিশ্চন্দ্রপর বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের ভোট গণনা। এর বাইরে হবে ইংরেজবাজারে হবে দুটি গণনা কেন্দ্র। একটি মালদা কলেজ, সেখানে ইংরেজবাজার, মোথাবাডি এবং মালদা বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের গণনা হবে। অন্যদিকে মালদা পলিটেকনিক কলেজে হবে ৬টি বিধানসভার গণনা। এই বিধানসভাগুলি হল রতুয়া, গাজোল, হবিবপুর, সুজাপুর, বৈষ্ণবনগর ও মানিকচক। জেলা প্ৰশাসন সূত্ৰে জানা গিয়েছে, করোনা কেন্দ্রে ঢুকতে গেলে প্রত্যেককেই করোনা উত্তীর্ণ হতে হবে। অর্থাৎ রিপোর্টে

ডায়মন্ড হারবার মেডিক্যালে তৈরি হচ্ছে অক্সিজেন প্ল্যান্ট
নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদন. ডায়মন্ড হারবার: করোনা পরিস্থিতিতে হাসপাতালগুলিতে রোগীর সংখ্যা হু হু করে বাড়তে থাকায় দেখা দিয়েছে ভয়াবহ অক্সিজেন ঘাটতি। আর তা মেটাতে একাধিক হাসপাতালে অক্সিজেন প্ল্যান্ট বসানোর সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তর। এবার দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনার ডায়মন্ড হারবার মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালে তৈরি হচ্ছে প্রেশার সুইং অ্যার্ডজপশন (পিএসএ) মেডিকেল অক্সিজেন প্ল্যান্ট। হাসপাতালের পুরাতন ভবনের কাছে জোরকদমে চলছে প্ল্যান্ট তৈরির কাজ। সব ঠিকঠাক থাকলে আগামী দু'এক দিনের মধ্যে এই প্ল্যান্ট চালু হয়ে যাবে বলে জানিয়েছে মেডিকেল কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষ। এবার থেকে হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন রোগীদের অক্সিজেন সরবরাহ করা হবে এই প্ল্যান্ট থেকে। রাজ্যের অন্যান্য জায়গার মতোই দক্ষিণ
২৪ পরগনার ডায়মন্ড হারবার স্বাস্থ্য জেলাতেও
একদিন
মারাত্মক হারে বেডে চলেছে করোনার সংক্ৰমণ। স্বাস্থ্য জেলায় একমাত্ৰ কোভিড হাসপাতাল রয়েছে ডায়মন্ড হারবারে। ফলে স্বাস্থ্য জেলার অধীন ডায়মন্ড হারবার এবং কাকদ্বীপ মহকমার করোনা আক্রান্তদের চিকিৎসার জন্য একমাত্র ভরসা ডায়মন্ড হারবার মেডিক্যাল কলেজ। কিন্তু দিনদিন রোগীর সংখ্যা বাড়তে থাকলেও বাড়েনি অক্সিজেনের যোগান। কোভিড হাসপাতাল এবং সপার স্পেশ্যালিটি হাসপাতাল মিলিয়ে মেডিক্যাল কলেজে মোট কোভিড বেডের সংখ্যা ১৬০। তবে অধিকাংশ বেডেই এখন রোগী রয়েছেন। হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন সিংহভাগ করোনা আক্রান্তেরই শ্বাসকষ্টজনিত সমস্যা রয়েছে। কিন্তু অক্সিজেনের ঘাটতি দেখা দেওয়ায় চরম উদ্বেগের মধ্যে পড়েছিল হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষ। কিন্তু অক্সিজেন প্ল্যান্ট চালু হলে এই সমস্যার সমাধান হবে।
স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তরের নির্দেশে দিনে তিনবার করে অক্সিজেন সিলিন্ডার পৌঁছে দেওয়া হয় হাসপাতালে। ১৬০ বি-সিলিন্ডার এবং ৮০টি ডি-সিলিভার বোঝাই অক্সিজেনের যোগান থাকলেও রোগী আধিক্যের জেরে অক্সিজেন ফরিয়ে যায় নিমেষে। কিন্তু কেন্দ্র ও রাজ্যের যৌথ উদ্যোগে হাসপাতালের পুরোনো ভবনের কাছে তৈরি হওয়া 'পিএসএ' মেডিক্যাল অক্সিজেন প্ল্যান্ট চালু হলে প্রতিদিন গড়ে ১০০ থেকে ১২০টি ডি-সিলিভারে সমপরিমাণ অক্সিজেন পাওয়া যাবে। যা থেকে ঘাটতি অনেকটাই মিটবে বলে মত কর্তৃপক্ষের। প্ল্যান্ট থেকে পাইপ লাইন এনে জুড়ে দেওয়া হবে হাসপাতালের ম্যানিফোল্ড রুমে। আর সেখান থেকে গোটা হাসপাতালেই অক্সিজেন সরবরাহ করা হবে। এখন জোর কদমে প্ল্যান্টের পাইপ লাইন এবং বিদ্যুৎ সংযোগের কাজ চলছে। সব
মেডিকেল কলেজ সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে,
ঠিকঠাক থাকলে আগামী দু'দিনের মধ্যে প্ল্যান্ট চালু করতে চাইছে হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষ। এ বিষয়ে ডায়মন্ড হারবার মেডিক্যাল কলেজের প্রিন্সিপাল ডা. রমাপ্রসাদ রায় ভাইস বলেন, 'কেন্দ্র ও রাজ্য সরকারের যৌথ উদ্যোগে এই পিএসএ মেডিকেল অক্সিজেন প্ল্যান্ট তৈরি হচ্ছে। এখন শেষ মহর্তের প্রস্তুতি চলছে। কাজ শেষ হলে একবার ট্রায়াল দেওয়ার পরই উৎপাদিত অক্সিজেন সরবরাহ করা হবে।
অন্যদিকে লিকুইড অক্সিজেন ট্যাঙ্কার বসানোর জন্য মেডিকেল কলেজের পক্ষ থেকে ইতিমধ্যেই আবেদন জানানো হয়েছে। গত শনিবার স্বাস্থ্য দপ্তরকে চিঠি দিয়ে এই আবেদন জানায় ডায়মন্ড হারবার মেডিক্যাল কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষ। অনুমোদন মিললে সুপার স্পেশ্যালিটি হাসপাতালের মধ্যেই লিকুইড অক্সিজেন ট্যাঙ্কার বসানোর কাজ শুরু হবে।

রাজ্য জুড়ে করোনার ঢেউ আছড়ে পড়েছে। রাজ্যের অন্যান্য জেলার পাশাপাশি শিল্পাঞ্চল দুর্গাপুরেও থাবা বসিয়েছে করোনা। করোনার দাপটে হাসপাতালগুলোতে বাড়ছে রোগীর সংখ্যা। পরিস্থিতি ক্রমশই জোরালো হয়ে উঠছে। এমতাবস্থায় করোনা চেন ভাঙতে দুর্গাপুরের বণিকমহল সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে আগামী ১ থেকে ৩ মে সমস্ত বাজার-হাট বন্ধ রাখার। বাজারের পাশাপাশি জিম, শপিংমল, সিনেমা হলও বন্ধ থাকবে। সেই সঙ্গেহ নবান্ন খেকেও শুক্রবার ।নদোশকা জাার করা হয়েছে, অনির্দিষ্টকালের জন্য বিউটি পার্লার, স্পোর্টস কমপ্লেক্স সবকিছুই বন্ধ থাকবে এবং বাজার খোলা থাকবে সকাল ৭ টা থেকে ১০ টা ও দ্বিতীয় পর্যায়ে দুপুর ৩ টে থেকে বিকেল ৫ টা পর্যন্ত। এছাড়াও কোভিড মোকাবিলায় পশ্চিম বৰ্ধমান জেলা প্ৰশাসনও বেশ কিছু উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে। এই কারণে শুক্রবার জেলাশাসক সমস্ত সরকারি ও বেসরকারি হাসপাতাল এবং জেলার বণিক সংগঠনগুলোর সঙ্গে জরুরি ভিত্তিতে বৈঠক সেরেছেন। এই বৈঠকে হাসপাতালগুলিতে শয্যা ব্যবস্থা কেমন, জেলায় অ্যাম্বুল্যান্স পরিষেবার ক্ষেত্রে কোনও অসুবিধা হচ্ছে কিনা সেই সকল বিষয় আলোচনা হয়। এছাড়াও, বণিক সংগঠনগুলো (চেম্বার অফ কমার্স) কোভিড পরিস্থিতিতে বাজারে ভিড় নিয়ন্ত্রণে কী কী ব্যবস্থা নিয়েছে বা বাজার অন্যত্র স্থানান্তরিত করার প্রয়োজনে কী কী করণীয় রয়েছে, বাজারে সকলে মাস্ক ব্যবহার করছেন কি না, সে ব্যাপারে বিস্তারিত আলোচনা হয় এদিনের বৈঠকে। জেলাশাসক অনুরাগ শ্রীবাস্তব জানান, এদিন দুটো ভার্চয়াল বৈঠক হয়েছে একটি হয়েছে করোনার সরকারি ও বেসরকারি হাসপাতালের সঙ্গে এবং অপর একটি হয়েছে বণিক সংগঠনগুলির সঙ্গে।
পশ্চিম বর্ধমানের জেলাশাসক অনুরাগ শ্রীবাস্তব
হাসপাতালগুলিতে কোভিড মোকাবিলায় পর্যাপ্ত ব্যবস্থা রয়েছে কিনা, সেসব নিয়ে আলোচনা হয়। পাশাপাশি হাসপাতালগুলিতে শয্যা সংখ্যা বৃদ্ধি করার জন্য এবং অক্সিজেন যারা সাপ্লাই দেন তাদের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ রাখার কথা বলা হয়েছে। সেইসঙ্গে এদিনের বৈঠকে ওষুধ পরিবহনকারী সংস্থাগুলিও উপস্থিত ছিলেন। তাদের বলা হয় ওষধ সংক্রান্ত কিছ সমস্যা তৈরি হলে সেগুলি চটজলদি সমাধান করার ব্যবস্থা যেন তারা গ্রহণ করে। জেলাশাসক জানিয়েছেন, চেম্বার অফ কমার্সে সঙ্গে আলোচনা হয়েছে, সরকার কোনও লকডাউন ঘোষণা না করলেও বাজার কমিটি যেন সকলের মাস্ক পরা সনিশ্চিত করে সেই বিষয়ে নজর রাখতে। তারা যদি ভিড় কমাতে বাজার খোলা বা বন্ধের সময়সীমা বেঁধে দেয় অথবা
বাজার অন্যত্র স্থানান্তরিত করতে চায়, তারা নিঃসন্দেহে তা করতে পারে।
পাশাপাশি কোন হাসপাতালে কত শয্যা রয়েছে, আম্বল্যান্স ডেটা সবটাই জেলাবাসী রাজ্য সরকারের ওয়েবসাইটে লাইভ স্ট্যাটাসে দেখে নিতে পারবেন বলেও জেলাশাসক জানিয়েছেন। সেই সঙ্গেই' 'ডিস্ট্রিক্ট কোভিড কো-অর্ডিনেশন সেন্টার' চালু হয়েছে। সেখানকার ফোন নম্বরে যোগাযোগ করলেও জেলাবাসী সকল সবিধা পেয়ে যাবেন। তা বিজ্ঞপ্তি জারি করে সেই হেক্সলাইন নম্বর জানিয়ে দেওয়া হবে বলে এদিন জানান জেলাশাসক। তিনি এদিন সকলকেই আতঙ্কিত না হয়ে সতর্ক ও সচেতন থাকার বার্তা দেন এবং মাস্ক ব্যবহারে কোনওভাবেই যেন কেউ অনীহা না দেখান সেই বাৰ্তাও দেন।
(জলার ধৃপগু।৬(৩ও শুরু হয়েছে সেই কর্মকাণ্ড। শুক্রবার কোভিড পরীক্ষার জন্য ধূপগুড়ির কৃষক বাজারে এজেন্টদের ভিড় দেখা গেল। আগামী রবিবার বিধানসভা নির্বাচনের ফলাফল ঘোষণা করা হবে। তবে রাজ্যের করোনা পরিস্থিতির কথা মাথায় রেখে গণনাকেন্দ্রে সংক্রমণ রুখতে নির্বাচন কমিশন নির্দেশিকা জারি করেছে। যে সমস্ত কাউন্টিং এজেন্ট রবিবার গণনাকেন্দ্রে প্রবেশ করবেন, তাঁদের সকলের জন্য কোভিড পরীক্ষা বাধ্যতামূলক বলে জানিয়েছে কমিশন। কাউন্টিং এজেন্ট ছাডাও প্রার্থী-সহ গণনার সঙ্গে যুক্ত সকলের কোভিড পরীক্ষা বাধ্যতামূলক বলে নির্দেশ কমিশনের। শুক্রবার সকাল থেকেই কৃষক বাজারে বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক দলের কাউন্টিং এজেন্টরা কোভিড পরীক্ষা করাতে ভিড় জমান। কোনও এজেন্টের রিপোর্ট পজিটিভ এ যাতে গণনার কাজ যাতে ব্যাহত হয়, সে জন্য সতর্ক কমিশন। জন্য অনেকেরই কোভিড পর্ করা হচ্ছে। জেলা প্রশাসন
সুকুমার রায় নামের এক স্থানীয় ব্যবসায়ী। তিনি বলেন, 'বৃদ্ধাকে দেখতে অনেকেই ভিড় করেছিলেন সৈকতে। কিন্তু করোনার ভয়ে কাছে যাচ্ছিলেন না কেউ। বাধ্য হয়েই পুলিশের স্মরণাপন্ন হই। পুলিশ এলে পিপিই কিট পরে আমিও হাত লাগাই। বদ্ধাকে উদ্ধার করে দিঘা স্টেট জেনারেল হাসপাতালে তাঁকে ভর্তি করে এসেছি।'
করোনা আক্রান্ত কি না, এখনও জানা যায়নি। তবে গুরুতর অসুস্থ তিনি। উদ্ধারের সময় হাতে স্যালাইনের চ্যানেল ছিল। লালা পড়ছিল মুখ থেকে। ঠিক মতো কথা বলতে পারছিলেন না। হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসা শুরু হওয়ার পর তাঁর পরিচয় জানার চেষ্টা করে মন্দারমণি উপকূল থানার পুলিশ। তাতে তিনি কলকাতার শ্যামবাজারের বাসিন্দা
সুকুমার জানিয়েছেন, ওই বৃদ্ধা বলে পুলিশকে জানিয়েছেন।

সংক্ৰমণ রুখতে ভোট গণনায় একগুচ্ছ নির্দেশিকা
নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদন, কাটোয়া: করোনার দ্বিতীয় ঢেউয়ে টালমাটাল পশ্চিমবঙ্গ। লাফিয়ে লাফিয়ে বাড়ছে সংক্রমণ, মৃত্যুর হার। তার মাঝেই মিছিল, মিটিং, ভেট সবই হয়েছে। ভোট গণনা হবে ২ মে। তবে চারদিকের নানা সমালোচনায় নড়েচড়ে বসেছে নির্বাচন কমিশন। গোটা রাজ্যের সঙ্গে সঙ্গতি রেখে গণনার সঙ্গে প্রত্যক্ষ ও পরোক্ষ যুক্তদের সুরক্ষিত রাখতে একগুচ্ছ পদক্ষেপ নিয়েছে পূর্ব বর্ধমান জেলা প্রশাসন। প্রার্থী, এজেন্ট বা গণনাকর্মীর করোনা পরীক্ষার রিপোর্ট বা ভ্যাকসিনের দুটি ডোজ নেওয়ার সার্টিফিকেট ছাড়া গণনাকেন্দ্রের ভিতরে

রক্ষায় একটি বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের ভোট গণনার জন্য একাধিক বড় ঘর ব্যবহার করা হবে। গণনার আগে গোটা গণনাকেন্দ্র জীবাণমুক্ত করা হবে। এমনকী ইভিএম ও ভিভিপ্যাটগুলিও জীবাণুমুক্ত করা হবে। কেন্দ্রে ঢোকার সময় সকলের শরীরের তাপমাত্রা মাপা হবে। ন্যূনতম উপসর্গ থাকলে গণনাকেন্দ্রে ঢুকতে দেওয়া হবে না।প্রার্থী, এজেন্ট, গণনাকর্মী ও নিরাপত্তারক্ষীদের জন্য পিপিই কিট,
স্যানিটাইজার, মাস্ক, ফেস শিল্ড, গ্লাভস থাকবে। গণনার শেষে যাবতীয় কোভিড বর্জা নষ্ট করার বাবস্থা হবে।
জেলার প্রতিটি বিধানসভায় সর্বদল বৈঠক ডেকে নির্বাচন কমিশনের গণনা নির্দেশিকা সম্পর্কে অবহিত করা হচ্ছে। ফল বেরনোর পর কোনওরকম বিজয় মিছিলের উপর নিষেধাজ্ঞা জারি হয়েছে, তার সঙ্গে গণনার সময় গণনাকেন্দ্রের বাইরে কোনওরকম জটলা বা জমায়েত করা যাবে না।
এদিকে এবারের নির্বাচনে কমিশনের নিৰ্দেশিকা অনুযায়ী ৮০ ঊৰ্ধ্ব ও বিশেষ চাহিদাসম্পন্নদের (৪০ শতাংশের উপর)
বাড়ি বসে ভোটদানের ব্যবস্থা হয়েছে। এরফলে প্রচুর টাকা খরচ হয়েছে বলে জেলা প্রশাসন সূত্রের খবর। জেলার ১৬টি বিধানসভা এলাকায় এবার বাড়িতে বসে ভোট দিয়েছেন ১৭,৬৯৫ জন। তারমধ্যে ৮০ ঊর্ধ্ব ১৫,৫১৯ জন ও বিশেষ চাহিদাসম্পন্ন ২,১৭৬ জন। তবে বাড়িতে বসে ভোট দিতে পেরে তাঁরা বেজায় খুশি। ধন্যবাদ জানাচ্ছেন নিৰ্বাচন কমিশনকে।
