Iress acquires leading investment and pension research software provider O&M Systems

Iress (IRE.ASX) today announced it has acquired O&M Systems in the United Kingdom. O&M provides pension and investment data and comparison tools to financial advisers.

Established in 1992, O&M has over 2,000 clients comprising pension and platform providers and advice businesses.

O&M software will further strengthen Iress’ already comprehensive advice offering in the UK. It will integrate directly into Iress’ Xplan software and is immediately available to Iress’ clients, as well as continuing as a stand alone research service.

Andrew Walsh, chief executive, Iress said: “O&M is a strong business with established clients and software that is a strategic addition to our advice software Xplan. Integrating O&M into Xplan will provide advisers with a powerful, combined advice and research solution. We are pleased all members of the existing O&M team will be joining Iress.”

The transaction is not market sensitive and has been simultaneously settled and completed.
