IRESS appoints Julie Fahey as director

IRESS today announced the appointment of Julie Fahey to the board of IRESS as an independent, nonexecutive director.

Ms Fahey has more than 30 years’ experience in technology. She is a non-executive director of SEEK, Datacom and non-profit disability services organisation Yooralla. She is also a member of the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority’s ICT Advisory Board.

She has extensive experience in senior roles across a diverse range of high profile organisations. She was deputy managing director at SAP Australia and Executive Director, Information Systems and Services at GM Holden.

IRESS chair Tony D’Aloisio said Ms Fahey would bring extensive technology, strategy and business experience to IRESS.

“I welcome Julie to the board of IRESS. She has strong technology, strategy and operational experience in a variety of senior management and governance roles. She will bring a valuable perspective from a successful career working in a broad range of industries, including financial services and technology.”

Ms Fahey’s appointment will be effective from 5 October 2017.
