CHANGES IN DIRECTORATE

The Board of Directors of Lai Sun Development Company Limited announces the following changes in the directorate of the Company with effect from 25th July, 2002:

(1) Mr. Law Man Fai has resigned as an independent non-executive director; and

(2) Mr. Lam Bing Kwan has been appointed an independent non-executive director.

The Board wishes to record a vote of thanks to Mr. Law for his contribution to the Company during his tenure of office and to extend its warm welcome to Mr. Lam.
