IP Group plc - Issue of Equity

IP Group plc (LSE: IPO) ("IP Group" or "the Group" or "the Company"), the developer of intellectual property-based businesses, announces that it has issued 3,209,139 new ordinary shares of 2p each (the "New Shares") to satisfy the final proportion of the consideration which has become due in respect of the acquisition of Parkwalk Advisors Ltd.

An application has therefore been made to the Financial Conduct Authority for admission of the New Shares to the premium listing segment of the Official List maintained by the UK Listing Authority and to the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that admission will take place on 2 April 2020. Following the issue of the New Shares, the Company now has 1,062,353,734 ordinary shares in issue and the total number of voting rights in the Company is 1,062,353,734. There are no shares held in Treasury.

The above figure of 1,062,353,734 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they may determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
