Iondrive Strengthens Leadership Team with Key Appointments to Drive Battery Recycling Commercialisation

Iondrive Limited (ASX: ION) (“Iondrive” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the strategic appointments of Mr. Hugo Schumann as Non-Executive Director and Mr. Lewis Utting as Commercial Director.

Hugo Schumann – Non-Executive Director

Mr. Schumann brings a wealth of experience in the metals industry, with a strong focus on leveraging innovative technologies to unlock value in metal extraction and processing. He recently served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Silver division at Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL), one of the world's largest silver producers. He is currently establishing a private equity business focused on the recycling of critical metals in the US.

Previously, Mr. Schumann was the Chief Financial Officer at Jetti Resources, where he played a pivotal role in scaling an innovative technology for extracting stranded copper resources. His leadership in commercial strategy, capital raising, and business development significantly advanced Jetti’s valuation and global footprint.

Lewis Utting – Commercial Director

Mr. Utting is a seasoned executive with a proven history of commercializing technologies across mining, water treatment, and oil & gas. As MD & CEO of SciDev Ltd, he led rapid growth during COVID-19, building a sustainable business while achieving outstanding shareholder returns and operational efficiencies

His extensive experience in technology commercialisation, capital markets, strategic partnerships and investor relations will be instrumental in scaling Iondrive’s battery recycling operations to meet growing market demand.
