Senior Management Change

The Company advises that it has appointed Greg Curnow, 48, as Chief Executive Officer. Mr Curnow has a BSc in geology from Monash University and was most recently the Chief Geologist/ General Manager for Morningstar Gold NL. He has some 25 years of experience in mineral exploration, development and production operations focussing mainly on gold and base metal projects in Australia. Mr Curnow will join the Company from 5[th] December 2011.

The Board is pleased to have secured the services of Mr Curnow as CEO of the Company. Mr Curnow has extensive experience in both exploration and development companies, and the Board believes he will be a major asset for the Company going forward.

Mr Curnow will replace Dr Graham Carman, who has been the Company’s Managing Director since its float in 2003, and will cease to be Managing Director on 2[nd] December 2011 to take up a position with an international exploration company.

To ensure an optimum transition, Dr Carman will continue as a non-executive Director of the Company. The Board wishes to record their appreciation for Dr Carman’s efforts over the past eight years and is pleased that he will continue to contribute to the Company’s development as a non-executive director.
