Change of Auditors
Invion Limited (ASX:IVX) (“Invion” or the “Company”) announces that Grant Thornton Audit Pty Ltd (“Grant Thornton”) have been appointed as the Company’s Auditors with effect from today, 12 January 2021. This appointment follows the resignation of Ernst & Young and ASIC’s consent to same.
The Board’s decision to change auditors was made following a consultation process, and chose Grant Thornton based on their reputation and experience, particularly with similar sized biotechnology companies to Invion.
In accordance with section 327C of the Corporations Act 2001, a resolution will be tabled at the Company’s 2021 Annual General Meeting to ratify the appointment of Grant Thornton as the Company’s auditor.
The Board of Directors would like to take this opportunity to thank Ernst & Young for their assistance and services to the Company to date.

About Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)
Invion is developing Photosoft™ technology as an improved next generation Photodynamic Therapy. PDT uses non-toxic photosensitisers and visible light in combination with oxygen to produce cytotoxic-reactive oxygen that kills malignant cells, shuts down tumours and stimulates the immune system. A potential alternative to surgery, and in contrast to radiotherapy and chemotherapy which are mostly immunosuppressive, PDT causes acute inflammation, expression of heat-shock proteins, and invasion and infiltration of a tumour by leukocytes.
