INTRED S.P.A.: TURNOVER IN THE FIRST NINE MONTHS OF 2018 UP BY 20% TO €12.6 MILLION

Milan, 12 November 2018 – The Board of Directors of Intred S.p.A. (the "Company" or "Intred") – a telecommunications operator listed since 2018 on the AIM Italia market of Borsa Italiana (symbol: ITD.MI) with a significant presence in eastern Lombardy, in particular in the Province of Brescia, and specialising in ultra-broadband network, broadband, and wireless connectivity, fixed telephony, and cloud and related ancillary services, for business and retail customers – met today and examined the turnover as at 30 September 2018, not subject to independent audit, which amounted to €12.6 million, up by 20% on the same period of the previous year.

The increase continued to be mainly driven by sales of ultra-broadband connections (FTTH and FTTC), which were up by 70%.

The telephony sector also improved (+12%), driven by sales of flat-rate commercial packages. Revenues from data centre services (Housing and Cloud) and ancillary services were in line with last year, while the RDSL sector (-5%) and the sector of traditional broadband deriving from copper cable connectivity (-7%) were down slightly, as the company is strongly encouraging its customers to switch to ultra-broadband fibre optic connections. It should also be noted that 95.5% of revenues derive from recurring fees, which provide the company continuity and a clear view of future forecasts.

The breakdown of turnover by type of customer remained substantially stable compared to previous periods, with strong growth in sales to the Wholesale market (+43%), thanks to the increase in FTTH connections for several national operators, as well as the residential sector (+25%) and Public Authorities (21%). The business sector also posted strong performance at +13%.

The number of users with data lines continued to grow significantly, from 21,123 on 30/09/2017 to 24,980 on 30/9/2018, up by 18.3%.
