Intertek Group plc (Intertek) Additional Directorship Notification

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, Intertek notifies that Wolfhart Hauser, Intertek Chief Executive, is to be appointed as a member of the Supervisory Board of Reed Elsevier NV, a company listed on the Euronext Stock Exchange in Amsterdam (RENV), and as a non-executive director of Reed Elsevier PLC, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: REL). The appointments are to be effective subject to shareholder approval at the respective Annual General Meetings of the companies to be held on 24 and 25 April 2013.
