The following is a Company Announcement issued by International Hotel Investments p.l.c. pursuant to the Capital Markets Rules as issued by the Malta Financial Services Authority:

Appointment of Head of Sustainability

Corinthia Hotels, a company in the IHI Group responsible for hotel operations worldwide, has appointed a Head of Sustainability to its management team as a further step towards providing a focal point in the group on matters related to sustainability.

Ing. Patrick Spiteri Staines, who holds a Masters Degree in Sustainability has worked in this field for the past 15 years. He also chaired the Energy Efficiency thematic committee at the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry. He was also appointed to the Sustainable use of Resources for Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Board. He is a registered Energy Auditor and a building Energy Assessor.

Ing. Patrick Spiteri Staines' role will cover the Group's coordination of sustainability activities and will be responsible for building on the group's sustainability policies and initiatives whilst creating a consolidated, structured, and measurable approach towards fulfilling the Group's environmental, social and governance (ESG) obligations.
