Total Voting Rights
The following notification is made in accordance with the UK Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rule 5.6.1.
Royal Mail confirms that the total number of ordinary shares in issue as at 1 February 2022 is 993,707,784 each share carrying the right to one vote.
Of this number 5,075,905 are repurchased shares held in treasury which are due for cancellation imminently.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the company as at 1 February 2022 is 988,631,879.
The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations of which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Royal Mail under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
