INTEREUROPA, d.d., Koper

INTEREUROPA, d.d., Koper

Performance of the Intereuropa Group during the first quarter of 2020

Pursuant to the provisions of the Rules of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and valid legislation, Intereuropa, d. d. hereby publishes the following announcement:

Koper, 21 May 2020 At today’s meeting, the Supervisory Board was briefed on the unaudited business report of the Intereuropa Group and Intereuropa, d. d. for the period January–March 2020. The Intereuropa Group generated sales revenue of EUR 38.4 million during the first quarter of 2020, a decrease of 3% relative to last year.

The Intereuropa Group generated a cash flow from operating activities (EBITDA) of EUR 3.0 million, a decrease of 3% relative to the same period in 2019. Operating profit (EBIT) amounted to EUR 1.1 million and was down 12% on the same period in 2019. The Intereuropa Group ended the first quarter of this year with a net profit of EUR 0.5 million.

Since the middle of March, the impact on the Intereuropa Group’s operations has been seen in a drop in sales revenue in all areas of operations. That drop is expected to continue in the coming months. The payment habits of certain customers have also deteriorated somewhat due to the epidemic. Despite the extraordinary circumstances, the Intereuropa Group has provided comprehensive logistics services for manufacturing, trade and other companies throughout the epidemic via its network of twelve subsidiaries in nine countries. In this way, it provides logistics support along the entire supply chain, both in Slovenia and other countries in Southeast Europe, in difficult conditions.

This announcement will be published on SEOnet and on the website of Intereuropa at www.intereuropa.net for a minimum of 5 (five) years from the date of publication.
