PRESS RELEASE CYBER INCIDENT FOURTH UPDATE

Agrate Brianza (MB), March 19, 2024 - The Group headed by Intercos S.p.A. (ICOS.MI) ("Intercos" or the "Company") provides you with newest information concerning the cyber-attack communicated on February 19, 2024, following up to the several updates already shared.

Intercos is pleased to announce that ordinary activity has almost been completely restored and that complete recovery is expected within the next few days. It is important to highlight that at the present date all Intercos production plants are operating at full capacity, with the only exception of the plant located in the United States, which is expected to fully recover within the current week.

Considering the successful management of the emergency caused by the cyber-attack, the Group confirms what has been previously communicated to the market: the inevitable impact on turnover that characterized the first quarter will be entirely recovered in the following months. The guidance previously provided remains therefore valid, with expectations for turnover growth in 2024, compared to 2023, at constant exchange rates, between +6% and +8%.

Furthermore, during the management of the emergency, the Group has always given top priority to the protection of the personal and corporate data of its stakeholders and of the Company itself. In this regard, specific analyses are also being finalized and, based on the information currently in our possession, we can exclude the exfiltration of significant quantities of data and/or information which may have a negative impact on the Group's business in the future.

As in the past, significant investments in cyber security will continue, in order to prevent further attacks in the future as much as possible. As also demonstrated by the good management of the recent attack suffered, the Company has, since many years, put in place a complex system of prevention and reaction to events of this kind, which is subject to annual audits by third-party companies of primary international standing.

We want to thank all the stakeholders, notably the Group's customers and suppliers who, during the entire recovery process of the Group's operations, have shown full understanding of the difficulties encountered and proved incessant and full collaboration.
