Integrated Research earnings update for 1[st] Half FY08

Sydney, January 17, 2008 – Integrated Research (ASX:IRI), a leading developer and provider of systems and applications management software for high-availability computing environments, today provided profit guidance for the six-month financial period ending December 31, 2007.

In order to keep the markets fully informed, the company wishes to advise that profit after tax will be in the range of $3.7 million to $4.1 million, subject to finalisation of the half-year financial report in accordance with the Australian Accounting Standards and the audit thereof. This compares to $1.9 million for the half-year period ending December 31, 2006.

The increase in profit after tax is attributed to strong sales growth in the company’s PROGNOSIS range of products for HP NonStop, IP Telephony and Windows, UNIX, Linux.
