Half Year Trading Update and Notice of Results

Half Year performance in line with the Board's expectations

Inspired plc (AIM: INSE), a leading technology enabled service provider supporting businesses in their drive to net zero, controlling energy costs and managing their response to climate change, is pleased to provide the following trading update for the six-month period ended 30 June 2022.

The Group continued to make progress against its planned strategy in the first half of the financial year, with strong trading and a continued improvement in underlying cash generation from FY2021. The Board expects to announce results in line with its expectations.

Energy has become a high priority Board level issue for all businesses. The Group continues to support clients in managing energy prices and reducing energy consumption and carbon emissions. Growth within the Group's Energy Optimisation Services in particular is strong, and the Board is pleased to note the accelerating demand for Inspired ESG services.

Mark Dickinson, CEO of Inspired PLC commented:

"Against a challenging market and macroeconomic backdrop, we are pleased to report a period of solid growth, with the Optimisation and ESG divisions gaining particularly good traction in particular, a trend we see continuing into the second half.

"The transition to Inspired plc a year ago has enabled us to strengthen our platform and leading market position as we support businesses in their response to the ongoing energy crisis and climate emergency."

Notice of Results

Inspired expects to announce its unaudited half year results to 30 June 2022 on 6 September 2022.
