Operational Appointments

Inspiration Healthcare Group plc (AIM: IHC), the global medical device company, is pleased to announce that it has made three key operational appointments in the UK as it continues a period of significant planned development:  

·     Wei Yu - Head of R&D

Wei heads up the R&D department as the Company continues to invest in developing its own product lines. He is a certified project manager with 16-year experience in project management and R&D management in medical device industry.  He has delivered more than 20 product development projects for a wide-range of medical devices in companies including Elekta, Olympus and Owen Mumford. Wei has a PhD in applied physics and worked at Sheffield and Cambridge universities for many years before moving into industry.

·     Simon Travers - Head of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs

Simon is responsible for the ever more important regulatory and quality compliance aspects of the business and will ensure that all procedures and systems are up to date and adhered to. With a wealth of industry knowledge and experience in both In Vitro Diagnostics and Medical Devices gained over 20 years for large organisations including CR Bard, Agfa Healthcare and most recently Elekta, Simon will drive the regulatory strategy for our product development as well as manage our quality systems. He is also a Black Belt Six Sigma practitioner.

·     Jonathan Ballard - Group Financial Controller

Jon is responsible for the Company's financial and management accounting and systems as well as taking responsibility for the statutory accounts and their reporting. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 15 years' UK and International exposure gained in both practice and industry across SME and Blue Chip organisations with experience in the medical device sector obtained whilst employed as General Accounting Manager for Bard Limited.
