The Managing Board of init innovation in traffic systems SE (ISIN DE 0005759807) today decided to propose to the Supervisory Board an increase of the dividend for fiscal year 2019 to EUR 0.40 per share. Compared to the previous year (EUR 0.12 per share), this represents a significant increase.
The basis for this is the noticeable progress made in improving profitability, the resulting strong increase in the EBIT margin and (according to preliminary, unaudited figures) the increase in consolidated net income after taxes to EUR 11.3m (previous year: EUR 2.4m). Furthermore, the operating cash flow was increased from EUR 12.8m to EUR 21.1m.
After approval of the audited financial statements and subject to the agreement of the Supervisory Board, the appropriation of retained earnings will be submitted for resolution to the Annual General Meeting held on 20 May 2020.
With its proposal for the appropriation of the retained earnings the Managing Board would like to set a signal on the growth prospects of the company, but also strengthen the company substance for future investments.
