Ingenia Communities Group (ASX: INA) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Ingenia Communities Group (‘INA’) will be placed in trading halt at INA’s request, pending it releasing an announcement about the outcome of the institutional component of the accelerated entitlement offer. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 17 October 2019.

Ingenia Communities Group (“INA”) REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT

Ingenia Communities Group (the “Group”), requests a trading halt to be applied with effect from the commencement of trading on Wednesday 16 October 2019, pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1. The trading halt is requested in connection with a potential capital raising, including an entitlements offer and placement by the Group.

The following information is provided in accordance with Listing Rule 17.1:

1. Commencement of trading halt: The Group requests that the trading halt commence with effect from commencement of trading on Wednesday 16 October 2019.

2. Reasons for trading halt: The Group is conducting a book build process as part of a significant issue of securities. Information about the issue, including in particular the price at which the book build is completed, may have a material effect on the price or value of the Group’s securities. The Group wishes to ensure the orderly conduct of the placement and that trading in the Group’s securities does not take place on an uninformed basis. The book build process is scheduled to take place over the course of one trading day and overnight, with an announcement about the results scheduled to be made before the commencement of trading on Thursday 17 October 2019.

3. Duration of trading halt: The Group expects the trading halt to last until it makes an announcement to ASX concerning the outcome of a placement of securities, which the Group anticipates will be made prior to commencement of trading on Thursday 17 October 2019.

4. Termination of the trading halt: The trading halt will terminate no later than the commencement of trading on Thursday 17 October 2019.

The Group is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
