- Gary Shiffman appointed Non Executive Director of Ingenia Communities
Ingenia Communities (ASX: INA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Gary Shiffman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sun Communities Inc. (NYSE: SUI), as Non-Executive Director effective 4 December 2018.
Jim Hazel, Chairman of Ingenia, said: “We are pleased to welcome a global executive of the calibre of Mr Shiffman to the Board.”

His breadth of experience in delivering strong performance, and building Sun Communities since it became a public company in 1993 to over a $US12 billion entity today, will help us drive innovation and create value for all investors.”
Mr Shiffman brings over 30 years’ experience in all aspects of the US and Canadian manufactured housing (MH) and recreational vehicle (RV) market. He has been actively involved in the acquisition, rezoning, development, expansion and marketing of numerous MH communities, as well as RV resorts.
As announced on 7 November, Mr Shiffman has been nominated by Sun Communities as their subscriber nominee director to the Ingenia Communities Group Board.
