- Andrew McEvoy appointed Non Executive Director

Ingenia Communities (ASX: INA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Andrew McEvoy as a Non-Executive Director effective 1 December 2017. Andrew will replace Phil Clark who, as announced at Ingenia's Annual General Meeting on 14 November, is stepping down from the Ingenia Communities Group Board.

Jim Hazel, Chairman of Ingenia, said: “We are pleased to be announcing the appointment of such a well qualified director as Phil Clark steps down. Phil has been on the Board since 2012 and in that time made a huge contribution to the Group as Ingenia established itself as an independent entity and embarked on a process of transformation. We thank him for his commitment over many years."

Andrew brings to the Group over twenty years’ experience in executive and non-executive roles focused on tourism, digital marketing and e-commerce. His prior roles include Managing Director, Tourism Australia, CEO, South Australian Tourism Commission, and CEO, Life Media and Events for Fairfax Media.

Andrew is currently the Chairman of the South Australian Government's Adelaide Riverbank Authority and the listed, award winning tourism and travel company, SeaLink Travel Group (ASX: SLK). He is also a Director of the e-commerce focused Lux Group and Founder and Executive Chairman of We Connect China, which assists companies to navigate the Chinese social media environment.

Andrew, who is based in Sydney, holds an MA, International Communications from City University (GB) and a BA, Arts from the University of Melbourne.
