Appointment of Derek Mapp as Chairman-Elect of Mitie Group plc

London: Informa (LSE: INF.L), the international Business Intelligence, Exhibitions, Events and Academic Publishing Group, today announces pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.14R(2), that Derek Mapp, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, has been appointed as Chairman-Elect of the facilities management, connected workspace and professional services business, Mitie Group plc ("Mitie"), with effect from 9 May 2017.

Derek will take over as Chairman of Mitie following the Group's AGM on 26th July.
