Infini Mobilises For Portland Creek Uranium Project Maiden Drill Program

Field geological and drilling personel on site completing access trail works and establishment of temporary core logging facilities

Highlights

Environmental Assessment and approval have been received from the Newfoundland Mines Department for access via road, forest trail and river barge into Portland Creek’s highly prospective target corridor

Work is underway to establish vehicular access, obviating the need to rely solely on helicopter support. This has the potential to significantly reduce project costs and interruptions due to poor weather

Temporary site core logging facilities being built for efficient core logging Comprehensive diamond drill data collection to include the use of handheld gamma-ray spectrometer, pXRF, downhole spectral gamma ray (GAM) and televiewer (OTV/ATV) in addition to routine geological logging (lithology, mineralogy, alteration and structure)

Field and drill crews on schedule to commence drilling at the Talus Prospect (7.5% U3O8 peak in soils) by the end of January

Infini Resources Ltd (ASX: I88 , “Infini” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the commencement of diamond drilling site preparation works at its 100% owned Portland Creek Uranium Project in Newfoundland, Canada.

Infini’s Managing Director and CEO, Charles Armstrong said : “It is great to see that additional environmental assessments can be progressed in a timely manner with the Newfoundland Mines Department, further illustrating the supportive environment that Infini is operating in. The Company now has the proposed access track approved in addition to the drill permit that was granted in December 2024. This allows the Company to opportunistically reduce its future reliance on helicopter use by having the ability to move staff and equipment to site via snowmobile and light vehicle, reducing costs, improving safety and reducing the effects of any poor weather on exploration activities.

Infini’s in-country geological and diamond drilling contractors and support staff are now mobilising to commence the highly anticipated Portland Creek maiden diamond drill program. We are also excited to be collecting comprehensive mineral exploration data throughout the drill campaign that will allow the Company to make detailed observations and decisions quickly and efficiently in the field.

Our methodical approach and hard work by all involved continues as we get closer to testing the location of a potential primary source for our exceptionally high-grade uranium in soil results.”

Access Trail Site Works

Drilling staff who also have forestry work expertise in Newfoundland have begun clearing an access trail from the west into the northwestern corner of Infini’s claims that lead into the Talus prospect. This work was approved by the newfoundland mines department after undergoing a environmental assessment process. These trails will allow the movement of both field personnel and supplies into and out of the drill site with the potential to significantly reduce ongoing project costs and reduce exploration interruption

due to poor weather. The trails are being made to support daily commutes using snowmobile, LV and light machinery.

Core Logging Camp Establishment

Infini field staff are now well underway with setting up temporary drill core handing structures which includes two tents for core logging, one tent for core cutting and racks for temporary core storage (Figure 3). In addition to this diamond core work area, the Company will be utilising Imago software for its core photography data storage purposes which works seamlessly with 3D geological modelling software. Snow clearing and camp site support will be provided to the Company under an agreement with the local owners of Mountain Waters Resort. This will ensure that access is always maintained between the accommodation and work areas for field and drilling staff as they come into and out of the field via snowmobile and helicopter.

Other Projects

The Company is pleased to advise that negotiations with the Valor Project Vendors have concluded with the parties agreeing to extend the stage 2 option period of the original Valor Agreement (‘Stage 2 End Date’) to 31 December 2025. Additionally, the Company has exercised the second stage option agreement, increasing the group’s interest in the Tinco North Claim (MC00015793) from 50% to 75% settlement in cash. The remainder of the Valor and Tinco North staged option agreement terms remain unchanged (refer to the Company’s prospectus announced on 10 January 2024 for further details and terms and conditions).

A heliborne magnetic, radiometric and electromagnetic survey has been flown over Infini’s Tinco Uranium Project, located in Saskatchewan, Canada (MC15793 and MC17688). The survey was flown along a west-northwest orientation with lines spaced 100m apart. The total survey comprised of 1030-line kms, flown at an average height of 36 m. Southern Geoscience Consultants have been engaged to complete an interpretation including the delineation of magnetic trends, classification of structures, lineaments, faults and folds and delineation and interpretation of stratigraphic relationships including contacts, to aid future exploration efforts.

About Portland Creek Uranium Project

The Portland Creek Project covers an area of 149 km2 and is situated in the Precambrian Long-Range Complex of the Humber Tectonic – Stratigraphic zone. These members include metaquartzite and a suite of paragneisses, intruded by leucocratic pink granite, which have likely been thrust westwards over Palaeozoic carbonate-dominant sediments. The Claims are situated over a large regional uranium anomaly that was identified in the 1970’s by a Newfoundland government stream sediment sampling program. There was initially one uranium showing on the property as listed in the Newfoundland Mineral Deposit Index inventory with 2,180 ppm U3O8 (refer Prospectus dated 30 November 2023). Since listing, the company has now verified and defined a high-grade soil anomaly at the Talus prospect measuring ~800m x 100m with a peak result of 74,997ppm U3O8.
