On September 06, 2012, The Capital Group Companies, Inc., Los Angeles, USA
has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via
shares its Voting Rights on Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg,
Deutschland, have exceeded the 3% and 5% threshold of the Voting Rights on
September 01, 2012 and on that day amounted to 8.02% (this corresponds to
87237100 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG in
connection with Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 2 and Sentence 3 of the
WpHG, 8.02% of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 87237100 Voting
Rights) is to be attributed to the company. Of those, 45285000 Voting
Rights (this corresponds to 4,17% of the Voting Rights on Infineon
