On July 16, 2009, FMR LLC, Boston, USA has informed us according to Article
21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting Rights on Infineon
Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Deutschland, ISIN: DE0006231004, WKN: 623100,
have exceeded the 3% limit of the Voting Rights on July 15, 2009 and now
amount to 3.19% (this corresponds to 23899076 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 in connection with
Sentence 2 of the WpHG, 3.19% of the Voting Rights (this corresponds to
