On August 10, 2009 , the Royal Ministry of Finance, Oslo, Norway, has
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
the Voting Rights of the Kingdom of Norway on Infineon Technologies AG,
Neubiberg, Deutschland, ISIN: DE0006231004, WKN: 623100, have exceeded the
3% limit of the Voting Rights on August 5, 2009, and on that day amount to
3.41% (this corresponds to 36587883 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 3.41% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 36587883 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the Kingdom of Norway from Norges Bank.

Furthermore, on August 6, 2009, Norges Bank, Oslo, Norway, has informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares its Voting
Rights on Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Deutschland, ISIN:
DE0006231004, WKN: 623100, have exceeded the 3% limit of the Voting Rights
on August 5, 2009 and on that day amount to 3.41% (this corresponds to
36587883 Voting Rights).
