Within the function of Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited as one of
the underwriters in a capital increase with subscription rights of Infineon
Technologies AG (registered with the commercial register on August 5,
2009), on August 11, 2009, Credit Suisse Group AG has informed us according
to section 21 sub-section 1 and section 24 WpHG of the following:

  1. On 5 August 2009, the voting rights of Credit Suisse Securities (Europe)
    Limited, London, United Kingdom in Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg,
    Germany, have exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% and at that time
    amounted to 9.6338% (corresponding to 103329032 voting rights).

On 7 August 2009, the voting rights of Credit Suisse Securities (Europe)
Limited, London, United Kingdom in Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg,
Germany, have fallen below the thresholds of 5% and 3% and at that time
amounted to 0.6070% (corresponding to 6510402 voting rights).

  1. On 5 August 2009, the voting rights of the companies affiliated with
    Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, London, United Kingdom, i.e.
    Credit Suisse (International) Holding AG, Zug, Switzerland, Credit Suisse
    Investments (UK), London, United Kingdom, and Credit Suisse Investment
    Holdings (UK), London, United Kingdom, in Infineon Technologies AG,
    Neubiberg, Germany, have also exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% and at
    that time amounted to 9.6338% (corresponding to 103329032 voting rights).
    All of these voting rights were attributed to these companies in accordance
    with section 22 sub-section 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG.

On 7 August 2009 the voting rights of the companies affiliated with Credit
Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, London, United Kingdom, i.e. Credit
Suisse (International) Holding AG, Zug, Switzerland, Credit Suisse
Investments (UK), London, United Kingdom, and Credit Suisse Investment
Holdings (UK), London, United Kingdom, in Infineon Technologies AG,
Neubiberg, Germany, have also fallen below the thresholds of 5% and 3% and
at that time amounted to 0.6070% (corresponding to 6510402 voting rights).
All of these voting rights were attributed to these companies in accordance
with section 22 sub-section 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG.

  1. On 5 August 2009, the voting rights of Credit Suisse, Zurich,
    Switzerland, in Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Germany, have also
    exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% and at that time amounted to 9.7950%
    (corresponding to 105058302 voting rights). 9.7948% of the voting rights
    (corresponding to 105055481voting rights) were attributed to Credit Suisse
    in accordance with section 22 sub-section 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG and
    0.0003% of the voting rights (corresponding 2821 voting rights) were
    attributed to Credit Suisse in accordance with section 22 sub-section 1
    sentence 1 no.6 in connection with section 22 Abs. 1 sentence 2 WpHG.

On 7 August 2009 the voting rights of Credit Suisse, Zurich, Switzerland,
in Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Germany, have also fallen below the
thresholds of 5% and 3% and at that time amounted to 0.7197% (corresponding
to 7719776 voting rights). 0.7195% of the voting rights (corresponding to
7716955 voting rights) were attributed to Credit Suisse in accordance with
section 22 sub-section 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG and 0.0003% of the voting
rights (corresponding to 2821 voting rights) were attributed to Credit
Suisse in accordance with section 22 sub-section 1 sentence 1 no.6 in
connection with section 22 Abs. 1 sentence 2 WpHG.

  1. On 5 August 2009, the voting rights of Credit Suisse Group AG, Zurich,
    Switzerland, in Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Germany, have also
    exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% and at that time amounted to 9.7953%
    (corresponding to 105061802 voting rights of a total number of 1072569049).
    9.7948% of the voting rights (corresponding to 105055481 voting rights)
    were attributed to Credit Suisse Group AG in accordance with section 22
    sub-section 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG and 0.0006% of the voting rights
    (corresponding 6321 voting rights) were attributed to Credit Suisse Group
    AG in accordance with section 22 sub-section 1 sentence 1 no.6 in
    connection with section 22 Abs. 1 sentence 2 WpHG.

On 7 August 2009 the voting rights of Credit Suisse Group AG, Zurich,
Switzerland, in Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Germany, have also
fallen below the thresholds of 5% and 3% and at that time amounted to
0.7201% (corresponding to 7723276 voting rights). 0.7195% of the voting
rights (corresponding to 7716955 voting rights) were attributed to Credit
Suisse Group AG in accordance with section 22 sub-section 1 sentence 1 no.
1 WpHG and 0.0006% of the voting rights (corresponding 6321 voting rights)
attributed to Credit Suisse Group AG in accordance with section 22
sub-section 1 sentence 1 no.6 in connection with section 22 Abs. 1 sentence
2 WpHG.

Ltd., Credit Suisse Investment Holdings (UK), Credit Suisse Investments
(UK), Credit Suisse (International) Holding AG, Credit Suisse und Credit
Suisse Group AG.

Furthermore, on 11 August 2009 Credit Suisse Group AG has informed us
according to section 25 sub-section 1 sentence 3 of the following:

6a) On 5 August 2009, Credit Suisse, Zurich, Switzerland, directly and
indirectly owned financial instruments which grant the right to acquire
1.1902% shares (corresponding to 12766205 voting rights) in Infineon
Technologies AG. The exercise periods and due dates of these financial
instruments are between 18 September 2009 to 21 December 2012.

Furthermore, according to sections 21, 22 sub-section 1 WpHG (as described
under 3 above) the voting rights of Credit Suisse in Infineon Technologies
AG amounted to 9.7950% (corresponding to 105058302 voting rights). Thus, on
this date, the voting rights of Credit Suisse had exceeded the thresholds
of 3%, 5% and 10% and amounted to 10.9853 % (corresponding to 117824507
voting rights).

6b) On 7 August 2009, Credit Suisse, Zurich, Switzerland, directly and
indirectly owned financial instruments which grant the right to acquire
1.1902% shares (corresponding to 12766205 voting rights) in Infineon
Technologies AG. The exercise periods and due dates of these financial
instruments are between 18 September 2009 to 21 December 2012.

Furthermore, according to sections 21, 22 sub-section 1 WpHG (as described
under 3 above) the voting rights of Credit Suisse in Infineon Technologies
AG amounted to 0.7197% (corresponding to 7719776 voting rights). Thus, on
this date, the voting rights of Credit Suisse had fallen below the
thresholds of 3%, 5% and 10% and amounted to 1,9100% (corresponding to
20485981 voting rights).

7a) On 5 August 2009, Credit Suisse Group AG, Zurich, Switzerland, directly
and indirectly owned financial instruments which grant the right to acquire
1.1902% shares (corresponding to 12766205 voting rights) in Infineon
Technologies AG. The exercise periods and due dates of these financial
instruments are between 18 September 2009 to 21 December 2012.

Furthermore, according to sections 21, 22 sub-section 1 WpHG (as described
under 4 above) the voting rights of Credit Suisse Group AG in Infineon
Technologies AG amounted to 9.7953% (corresponding to 105061802 voting
rights). Thus, on this date, the voting rights of Credit Suisse had
exceeded the thresholds of 3%, 5% and 10% and amounted to 10.9856 % %
(corresponding to 117828007 voting rights).

7b) On 7 August 2009, Credit Suisse Group AG, Zurich, Switzerland, directly
and indirectly owned financial instruments which grant the right to acquire
1.1902% shares (corresponding to 12766205 voting rights) in Infineon
Technologies AG. The exercise periods and due dates of these financial
instruments are between 18 September 2009 to 21 December 2012.

Furthermore, according to sections 21, 22 sub-section 1 WpHG (as described
under 4 above) the voting rights of Credit Suisse Group AG in Infineon
Technologies AG amounted to 0.7201% (corresponding to 7723276 voting
rights). Thus, on this date, the voting rights of Credit Suisse had fallen
below the thresholds of 3%, 5% and 10% and amounted to 1.9103%
(corresponding to 20489481 voting rights).
