underwriters in a capital increase with subscription rights of Infineon
Technologies AG (registered with the commercial register on August 5,
2009), on August 12, 2009, Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt, Germany has
informed us according to section 21 sub-section 1 WpHG that on August 5,
2009, its voting rights in Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Germany,
have exceeded the thresholds of 3% and 5% and at that time amounted to
9.53% (corresponding to 102,228,538 voting rights of a total number of
1,072,569,049).

Furthermore, on August 12, 2009, Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt, Germany, has
