On November 23, 2009 the Royal Ministry of Finance, Oslo, Norway, has
informed us according to Sec. 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading
Act (WpHG) that via shares the voting rights of the Kingdom of Norway on
Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Germany, ISIN: DE0006231004, WKN:
623100, have fallen below the 3% limit of the voting rights on November 18,
2009, and on that day amount to 2.98% (this corresponds to 32,408,833
voting rights). According to Sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG 2.98% of
the voting rights (this corresponds to 32,408,833 voting rights) is to be
attributed to the Kingdom of Norway from Norges Bank.

Furthermore, on November 20, 2009 Norges Bank, Oslo, Norway, has informed
us according to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that via shares its voting rights on
Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Germany, ISIN: DE0006231004, WKN:
623100, have fallen below the 3% limit of the voting rights on November 18,
2009, and on that day amount to 2.98% (this corresponds to 32,408,833
voting rights).
