On December 7, 2009 we were informed by BlackRock Financial Management,
Inc., New York, USA pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that the percentage
holding of the voting rights of BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. in
Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Deutschland, ISIN: DE0006231004, WKN:
623100, exceeded the threshold of 3% on December 1, 2009 and amounts to
4.09% (44,399,612 voting shares) on that day. All of the voting rights are
attributable to BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. pursuant to Sec. 22
para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.

On December 7, 2009 we were further informed by BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc.
pursuant to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that the percentage holding of the voting
rights of BlackRock Holdco 2, Inc. in Infineon Technologies AG exceeded the
threshold of 3% on December 1, 2009 and amounts to 4.09% (44,399,612 voting
shares) on that day. All of the voting rights are attributable to BlackRock
Holdco 2, Inc. pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 in connection with
sent. 2 WpHG.

On December 7, 2009 we were finally informed by BlackRock, Inc. pursuant to
sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that the percentage holding of the voting rights of
BlackRock, Inc. in Infineon Technologies AG exceeded the threshold of 3% on
December 1, 2009 and amounts to 4.18% (45,371,969 voting shares) on that
day. All of the voting rights are attributable to BlackRock, Inc. pursuant
to Sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 in connection with sent. 2 WpHG.
