On December 12, 2008, AXA Equitable Financial Services, LLC, New York, USA,
informed us according to article 21 section 1 WpHG that on November 3, 2008
its voting rights in Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg, Germany, have
fallen below the threshold of 5% and amounted to 4.76% (corresponding to
35,692,855 voting rights). All of these voting rights are to be attributed
according to article 22 section 1 sentence 1 no. 6 and sentence 2 WpHG.
