Indutrade acquires med-tech company in Poland
Indutrade today acquired all of the shares in AxMediTec Sp. z o.o, in Białystok, Poland, with annual sales of approximately SEK 70 million, from Axel Johnson International which is part of Axel Johnson Group AB.
AxMediTec is a technology sales company specialising primarily in medical technology equipment used for healthcare applications in operating rooms, intensive care wards, emergency wards, and cardio and neonatal units. The products consist of monitoring equipment, respirators, defibrillators, anaesthesiology equipment, training, service and a wide range of single-use items.
Organisationally the company will be included in the Industrial Components business area, which had net sales of SEK 1,401 million in 2008.
The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Indutrade's earnings per share.
