The Board of The Income & Growth VCT plc (''the Company") announces that, due to personal circumstances, Colin Hook is stepping down from his role as Chairman of the Board and as a director of the Company with immediate effect.

The Board wishes to express its gratitude for the significant contribution that Colin has made to the Company as a director and Chairman since its inception.

The Company announces the appointment of Jonathan Cartwright, currently Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee and Nomination and Remuneration Committee, as Chairman of the Board with immediate effect.

As announced in the Company's previous Annual Report, the Board has been considering a succession plan and has engaged in a recruitment process to appoint an additional independent non-executive director.   In light of the Chairman stepping down, this has now been accelerated, and the Board will make a further announcement in due course.

This announcement is made in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11R.
