Inchcape plc - Transfer of shares from treasury

Inchcape plc (the "Company"), the leading premium automotive group, announces that, on 15 July 2014, 2,687,560 ordinary shares of £0.10 each were transferred out of treasury for nil consideration for the purpose of satisfying exercises under the Inchcape Employee Share Schemes/Plans.

Following the transfer of these shares the Company has 456,104,843 ordinary shares in issue.

The above figure (456,104,843) represents the total voting rights in the Company and may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
