Inchcape plc ("Inchcape"), the leading premium automotive group, today announces that Simon Borrows, Chief Executive of 3i Group Plc, has advised the Board of Inchcape that he does not intend to seek re-election as a Non-Executive Director at Inchcape at its AGM on 21 May 2015.  Simon will therefore stand down from the Board at the AGM.

Simon Borrows said "I have very much enjoyed being a part of the Inchcape Board since 2010. It has been a great privilege to support André and his management team over this period where they have accomplished so much. I wish my Board colleagues and the changing management team at Inchcape every success for the future".

Ken Hanna, Chairman of Inchcape, said "I would like to thank Simon for his support and sound advice to Inchcape over the last 5 years. On behalf of Inchcape, I wish Simon the very best in his busy and successful role as Chief Executive of 3i Group Plc".
