For the purposes of Article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council and of Article 248-A of the Portuguese Securities Code, IMPRESA - Sociedade Gestora de Participações Sociais, S.A. ("Impresa") informs its shareholders and the market that its subsidiary SIC - Sociedade Independente de Comunicação, S.A. ("SIC"), and Trojan Horse was a Unicorn (THU) have announced their intention to form a partnership to foster the digital entertainment industry in Portugal, which includes the areas of audiovisual, film, gaming, animation, visual effects and virtual reality , through the joint creation during next year, of an investment fund of 10 million euros (with a participation of SIC of 300 thousand euros), which has the purpose of supporting projects in early-stage of creators of the THU community, being implemented in Portugal.

This partnership intends to take advantage of the capacities and skills of both companies to foster the creative industry, generating new mechanisms for its development, as the promotion of programs and educative actions, talent incubation, creation of production hubs and other initiatives in the areas of cinema, production for television, animation, gaming; streaming, among other. The objective is to support local talent with a particular focus on young people.
