Change of Director

The Board of Imperial Pacific Limited is pleased to announce that Mr David A Sutherland has been appointed a Director of the company. He replaces Mr John C Plummer who has stood down from the Board with effect as from today.

Mr Sutherland has been involved in the investment markets for over thirty years. He has held senior positions in the sector within merchant banks and investment houses over this period. In recent times he held the senior executive position of Investment Manager at HGL Limited for seven years where he had particular experience with corporate equity investments.

Mr Plummer is Deputy Chair of Chandler Macleod Limited and a Director of Professional Associations Superannuation Limited where he is Chair of the Investment Committee. He also holds a number of private board positions including his recent appointment as Chairman of the Australian Institute of Financial Services and Accounting. Increasing workloads with these other commitments has not allowed Mr Plummer to dedicate the time necessary for the Imperial Pacific group.

Directors place on record their thanks to Mr Plummer for his support and guidance since he re-joined the Board in 2004. He remains a shareholder in the company.
