Brisbane, Australia - ImpediMed Limited (ASX: IPD) a global provider of medical technology to measure, monitor and manage fluid status and body composition, today released its Appendix 4C – Quarterly cash flow report for the period ended 31 March 2017.
Total revenue for the period was $1.6 million, including lymphoedema sales of $1.1 million. Net operating cash outflow for the quarter was $7.0 million. Cash receipts from customers for the quarter were $1.1 million and cash on hand as of 31 March 2017 was $62.2 million.
Highlights for the past quarter include:
-
Trained 16 new L-Dex® accounts in Q1 of CY2017; targeting a total of 72 new L-Dex accounts for CY2017 in the second year since commercial launch;
-
920 patients enrolled to date in randomised lymphoedema (LE) post-approval clinical trial;
-
Added Columbia University Medical Center to the LE post-approval clinical trial;
-
First shipment of SOZO™ to Scripps Health for chronic heart failure (CHF) clinical study. The site will use SOZO™ in the initial study for monitoring patients with CHF in a clinical setting, in order to provide real-world data;
-
Mr Don Williams and Mr Amit Patel appointed to the Board of Directors as USbased Non-Executive Directors.
“We continue to see strong uptake of L-Dex, with a total of 88 sites now signed and trained since full commercial launch. This provides a strong foundation of top-tier cancer centres across the US using L-Dex in their high-risk patient programs. We expect to see widespread routine use of L-Dex at these sites as we introduce L-Dex readings via SOZO™ into clinical practice and as we secure private payor reimbursement, following the publication of first data from our large post-approval trial”, said Richard Carreon, Managing Director and CEO of ImpediMed.
“We also continue to make excellent progress in readying SOZO™ for clinical studies and regulatory approval/clearance. Following rigorous safety and performance testing, the first devices have been shipped to Scripps Health and Vanderbilt for use in CHF and LE studies using SOZO™.”
