ASX RELEASE – OFFER ACCEPTANCES

ImpediMed Limited advises that it has closed its renounceable 1-for-9 Entitlement Offer after receiving applications from eligible shareholders for approximately $1.2 million of new ordinary shares.

This represents a take-up of approximately 17 per cent under the Entitlement Offer announced on 28 May 2009. In accordance with Appendix 7A of the ASX Listing Rules, ImpediMed Limited advises that 9,022,153 shares were not taken up under the Entitlement Offer (“Shortfall Shares”).

As announced previously the Entitlement Offer was fully underwritten by Wilson HTM Corporate Finance Limited and the Shortfall Shares will be placed under that agreement.

Completion of the Entitlement Offer will result in the allotment of approximately 10,889,278 ImpediMed Limited ordinary shares.

ImpediMed Limited Chairman Mr Mel Bridges said “The company is very pleased with the support from Wilson HTM Corporate Finance who have facilitated the fully underwritten placement of $5.0 Million announced on 28[th] May 2009, and the Entitlement Offer of $7.0 Million. The $12 Million raised will allow the company to focus for the next 12 months on its business and on the achievement of the milestones it is targeting as outlined in the Offer Summary.”
