ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

IMPEDIMED ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Brisbane, Australia - ImpediMed Limited (ASX: IPD) a global provider of medical technology to measure, monitor and manage fluid status and body composition today announced the retirement of Mr Jim Hazel, who will step down from his positions of Non-Executive Director and Chair of Audit and Risk Committee, effective 1 March 2016.

The company is also pleased to announce that Ms Elizabeth Gaines will join the ImpediMed Board as a non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee, effective 1 March 2016.

Ms Gaines was most recently the CEO, and previously CFO / COO of Helloworld (ASX:HLO), an ASX listed travel distribution business. Her executive career includes leadership and senior finance roles in Australia and internationally spanning financial services, infrastructure, media and travel distribution. Ms Gaines is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, Australian Institute of Company Directors and Chief Executive Women.

Ms Gaines is a Non-Executive Director of Fortescue Metals Group Limited (ASX:FMG), NextDC Limited (ASX:NXT) and effective 1 March 2016, Nine Entertainment Co Limited, (ASX:NEC).

The company has undergone immense change in this time and has not been without its challenges; Jim’s guidance and commitment throughout his tenure has been greatly valued.

Her financial management expertise and breadth of commercial experience will augment the Board and leadership as the needs of the organization become more complex in line with its growing sales and presence in the US, and its expansion into new indications.”

The company has proven its ability to successfully commercialise its technology and I look forward to working with the company as it now executes on its strategy to move into new markets and drive additional value from its technology.”
