Brisbane, Australia – ImpediMed Limited (ASX: IPD) (“ImpediMed”) announces the resignation today of Peggy Brooker, COO and CFO.

“Peggy has been a tireless force in orchestrating the global financial administration and back office operating functions of ImpediMed, first as VP of Global Finance, then CFO, and finally COO and CFO to the Company,” stated Richard Carreon, CEO. “In her 3+ years at ImpediMed, she built an outstanding team of professionals, which leaves us in an extremely positive position to manage all projects going forward. Nonetheless, she will be missed.”

“The Company is thankful for Ms. Brooker’s dedication and hard work, and we wish her every success in her future endeavors,” said Carreon.

In addition, the U.S. Headquarters has completed the final phase of its strategic realignment, which includes the departure of ImpediMed’s Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing, William Gearhart, as well as Sr. VP of Business Development, Jack Butler, and two other professionals. “I thank these individuals for helping move the company through its early startup phase and wish them all the best.”

Additionally, Morten Vigeland has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Global Finance. “Morten’s previous financial expertise as a CFO of a medical device company, and his industry knowledge, will continue to enhance our financial and operational capabilities both in the U.S. and Australia,” said Carreon.

“Our realignment efforts have already delivered significant value in terms of dramatically lowering our cost structure, while driving double digit growth in our core lymphoedema business. Although we will continue to focus on disciplined financial controls, we will be accelerating our investments in those initiatives that offer the greatest opportunity for growth. We believe these actions will better position ImpediMed to create value for our shareholders and improve the quality of life for patients,” according to Carreon.
