ASX RELEASE:

NEWLY APPOINTED CEO STARTS AT IMPEDIMED

Brisbane, Australia. – ImpediMed Limited (ASX: IPD) (“the Company or ImpediMed ”) is pleased to announce Richard Carreon, ImpediMed’s new CEO, has taken up his appointment on 10 July 2012 in San Diego. The Company previously announced changes to the executive team to shareholders and the market on 12 June 2012.

On 10 July 2012, the Board of Directors accepted Greg Brown’s resignation as CEO and MD. On the same date, the Board of Directors accepted Greg Brown’s consent to serve on the Company’s Board as an Executive Director, effective immediately.
