Request for trading halt

Australian Biodiesel Group Limited (ABG) requests a trading halt immediately in respect of the trading of its shares.

1. There reason for the request is that the Company is about to announce a strategic initiative regarding the acquisition of some material assets. We are finalising a subscription agreement with the vendor and expect to announce the transaction to the market shortly.

2. We request the trading halt be effected immediately and we seek recommencement of trading of ABG shares from time of opening of market tomorrow (Friday, 7 November 2008).

3. We expect to announce the transaction noted in (1) above to the ASX, at which time the trading halt should end.

4. ABG is not aware of any reason as to why this trading halt request should not be granted.

5. We will provide any other information requested by the ASX or necessary to keep the market informed of this trading halt.
