2008 REFERENCE DOCUMENT

Reports on Corporate Governance and Internal Control Statutory Auditors' Fees

Imerys filed its 2008 Reference Document, including the Annual Financial Report, with Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) on April 3, 2009.

The Reference Document is available to the public free of charge in the conditions provided by current regulations and may be consulted on the Group's website www.imerys.com in the Our Group / Publications & Regulated Information / Annual Report section, as well as on the AMF website (www.amf-france.org).

Information on the fees paid to the statutory auditors in 2008, the report of the Chairman of the Board of Directors on Corporate Governance and on Internal Control and risk management procedures, as well as the related auditors' report, in particular, are included in the 2008 Reference Document.

The English version of the 2008 Reference Document will be available in the next few days on the Group's website.
